M 95/34 Steyr Mannlicher Carbine Rife

-
Example of M95 Rear Sight............................Example of M95/34 Rear Sight
Steyr Model 1895 carbines in 8x56R Caliber
The infamous Austro-Hungarian Empire supplied its military with the M95 and or the M95/34 during its powerful reign. This is an improved infantry rifle from the model 1890.
The rifle includes a full-length handguard, leaf pattern rear sight and sling swivels. 5 round straight pull bolt action. Barrel: 19”, Overall: 39.5”, Weight: 7.03 lbs.

The M95 and the M95/34 are virtually identical with the exception of the following.
The 95/34 is considered the Hungarian variant and will typically have a longer rear leaf sight than the M95 and may have a sling loop on the forend of the stock rather than a sling swivel.
These Rifles were produced in the 1930's and are in very nice condition for 80 some odd year old rifles. We paid a premium to obtain the importers top grade .
Very functional and will fire nicely if you can obtain the ammo.
Ammo is difficult but not impossible to find. This is a nice batch of rifles.
We will hand pick best of 10 on either of the codes for an additional $10.00

will vary from and no two guns will look the same.
Also note that stocks may not be original to rifle. For hand select we will try to honor request.

Chinese Type 53 Nagant Rifle

Both of these are actual photo's of the type 53's that we have in stock.
The one on the top is just about the lightest stock I could find and I took a picture of it to try and show more detail. Darker stocks are very hard to photograph to show detial as you can tell from the second picture but most of the stocks will be a darker coloration.

Look at these cool Chi-Com markings. All we have seen so far are dated either 1955 or 1956, The one below is Feb 1955...
I was told the Chinese lettering either says Kill the Round Eye or # 296 Beef with Broccoli

How long has it been since you have seen one of these. What you see above is the Chinese Type 53, five round bolt action 7.62x54r caliber rifle. It is the Chinese version of the Russian M44 , a short calvary variation of the Nagant rifle with a side folding bayonet.
It has been at least 15 years since any of these were in the country and we very well may never see them again.
The importer graded these as good and I guess in the truest sense that is true. Mechanically they are sound and the blue and bores are good. Stocks are solid too but they are discolored and ugly with lots of small dents and dings. Each one of these had about 2 pounds of cosmoline on them when they came into the country but ours have been degreased. The degreasing process left the stocks a little dry and chalky but a little light refinish will probably make the stocks much better. None of the stocks are cracked or broken. Each rifle has a side foling cruciform typem bayonet. They are not beauty queens but they will be good shooters.
They are highly collectable, and no Nagant collection is complete without one.
They are in stock now and ready to ship but supplies are limited..... Hurry....

* There are no really pretty stocks on these so don't expect a great stock just because we hand pick , However, some are better than others and some have more blueing wear than others so we will look through and get you the best of 5 for the additional $10.00.

Yugo M24/47 8mm Mauser Rifle

-
Just In and Ready to Ship. Yugo M24/47 Rifles. 8 mm 5 round Bolt Action.
These rifles are all in very good to excellent condition. Stocks vary somewhat in color and grain and may have some slight storage marks but no major dents or dings and certainly no cracks. Blue should be 100% or at least darn close. Beautiful Yugo Crest.
Bores overall have been quite nice and some like brand new.
These are premium grade rifles and each comes complete with a bayonet and accessory package featuring all that you see above.

Yugo SKS Rifles
With Minor Cracked Stocks

Above - Actual Random Photo of one of these Yugo SKS Rifles
Below - 2 different examples of the type of minor cracks in the stocks that you can expect
-
Yugo SKS Rifles have really started to dry up in the marketplace and our
understanding is that they are totally out in Serbia and the former Yugoslav Republic.

We just purchased the remaining lot of Yugo SKS rifles from a major importer.
These rifles were manufactured in the famous Zastava Plant. The rifles they had left were a small lot that the importer had assigned the product code of SKS-GC.
The GC stands for good cracked. It means that the rifles graded out cosmetically and mechanically ( function wise ) as good or better, but had a crack in the stock somewhere. We had reservations about taking these but were assured that the cracks were minor and certainly fixable and that overall they were nice rifles that simply had a crack somewhere within the stock. After getting these in and inspecting them we found the representation to be for the most part very true.
At least 90 percent of the stocks that we have seen have very minor cracks that are fixable with gorilla glue or worst case scenario a wood screw recessed into the stock.
Some are very minor cracks relegated to the handguard or even just a deep gouge or dig in the wood.
In most cases the minor crack is in a low recoil area and would actually never need to be repaired
except as a personal preference.
In no case will the stocks be broken in two or beyond a resonable ability to repair.
We just wouldn't do that to you.
On some we can't find the crack at all but since they are entered into our books under the GC product code
we are going to sell them that way.
Otherwise, expect some bluing wear ( some have very little and some have a lot ), and the typical
dents and dings in the stocks, as well as lots of cosmoline as is typical with Yugo SKS rifles.
Overall a solid , functional, highly reliable, although not cosmetically beautiful rifle.
I have posted a couple of examples of what you should expect in a cracked stock above.
If the cracks are much more significant than what you see there we will hold the rifle out
and post a picture of it individually later on.
We are not about trying to suprise people.
These are a great value for the money and will make great shooters
Each Rifle comes complete with a flip out bayonet and will ship with a leather belt type ammo pouch.
These are affordable and the ammo is inexpensive and fun to shoot. More accurate than the AK.
7.62x39 caliber, 10 round, Semi-Auto.
We started with 100 pieces at this price and they are selling fast. Hurry !!!!!

Now In Stock - Nagant M1895 Revolvers

A Little History on the M1895 Nagant - From Wikipedia
The Nagant M1895 Revolver is a seven-shot, gas-seal revolver designed and produced by Belgian industrialist Léon Nagant for the Russian Empire. The Nagant M1895 was chambered for a proprietary cartridge, 7.62x38R, and featured an unusual "gas-seal" system in which the cylinder moved forward when the gun was cocked to close the gap between the cylinder and the barrel.
Léon Nagant and his brother Emile were well known in the Russian Tsar's court and military administration because of the important part they had played in the design of the Russian service rifle Mosin-Nagant Model 1891. The Nagant M1895 became the standard issue side arm for Russian army and police officers, later for Red Army and Soviet law enforcements.

Production began in Liège, Belgium, but was soon moved to Russia. The M1895 started to be replaced by the more modern Tokarev semi-automatic pistol in 1933 but was still produced and used in great numbers during World War II. Despite being supplemented after 1930 by the Tokarev it was never fully replaced until the arrival of the Makarov Pistol in 1952. The distinctive shape and name helped it achieve cult status in Russia, and in the early 1930s the presentation of a Nagant M1895 revolver with an embossed Red Star was one of the greatest honours that could be bestowed on a Party Member. It remains in use with the Russian Railways and remote police forces.
The M1895 revolver was used extensively by the Russian Imperial Army and later by the Soviet Union after the Russian Revolution. In Russian service, it was known for its extreme sturdiness and ability to withstand abuse. As one former Imperial Russian officer stated, "if anything went wrong with the M1895, you could fix it with a hammer".

It was widely employed by the Bolshevik secret police, the Cheka, as well as its Soviet successor agencies, the OGPU and NKVD. In the police role, it was frequently seen with a cut-down barrel to aid in concealment by plainclothes agents. Despite the advent of the more modern Soviet TT pistol, the M1895 remained in production and use throughout World War II.
Personally, I think that the way the cylinder on this weapon not only turns but moves forward to seal the cylinder to the chamber is a remarkable piece of engineering. Ammo is hard to find but not impossible. You will not find it at Walmart but a internet search will probably turn some up. If you do find it , these are fully funtional and are ready to fire.
The condition on these is very good to excellent and they have some really nice cartouche markings.
These are really nice and no Russian Arms collection is complete without one.

Romanian TTC Tokarev Pistol

C & R ELIGIBLE
It has been almost a year now since we had our last batch of these fine handguns in stock, but I believe the wait was worth it. These are exceptional. No disrespect to the Yugo variation, but I like these better. These have a factory safety instead of an after production add on and the lines and fit are just cleaner. The importer who brought these into the country seperated them into 2 different grades... what they called good- to borderline very good... And Excellent.. We had a chance to review them and opted for the Excellents... The lower grade simply has too much cosmetic wear for our taste.
They also seemed to have had more rounds ran through them and we like to bring our customers top quality.
We paid a little more for these, but the higher condition is definately worth it.
If the finish on these is not like new it is certainly darn close.
The finish on these is a deep rich blue... Some may have very slight bluing wear on the sharp edges but most do not.
Bores have been very nice. Holsters are also like new only showing some slight storage wear. The photo above is just one of the pistols that we picked at random and shows a true representation of the condition you can expect...
Each pistol is semi-auto and fires the hard hitting, flat shooting 7.62x25 caliber cartridge...
These pistols come with 2-8 round mags, leather holster, and cleaning rod.

Don't you buy no ugly gun.... Get one of these and be proud.....

SWISS SCHMIDT RUBIN 1896/11 RIFLES, 1911 RIFLES,
1911 CARBINES AND SWISS K31-RIFLES
These are great looking, highly accurate, and historically significant rifles. They are also some of the better looking swiss rifles overall that we have seen. We have the 4 models that began with the adoption of the highly accurate swiss 7.5x55 ammunition round listed below. There historical differences are too lenghty to reproduce here but
I have provided a link to a website here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schmidt-Rubin )
that will give you a college education on them.
I can assure you of this, The swiss rifles have a reputation of always being really nice on the inside, but somewhat rough on the outside.
The stocks in a lot of cases were exposed to harsh cold icey winters, and typically showed a lot of wear. Not these, Now don't get me wrong , these are not pristine by any means, you will have some dents dings and scratches on the stocks, but no Beaver-Chews....
and by K-31 standards they all have had pretty darn nice wood.
The blue is good to very good. Bores of course are exceptional.
The Swiss arsenals are now out so don't miss what may be your last chance to own one of these fine firearms.

Schmidt Rubin M1896/11
The Schmidt-Rubin 1896/11 Rifle or the Model 96/11 was Switzerland's effort to upgrade the 1896 rifles it currently issued to use the more powerful cartridges of the Model 1911.

Barrel Length – 78 cm (30.7 in): 4-groove, RH, concentric rifling, 1 in 10.63" (approx 6,000 96/11s had a twist rate of 1 in 9")
Overall Length – 130 cm (51.2 in), Weight – 4.51 kg (9.94 lbs) empty' Action – Schmidt-Rubin Straight Pull
Caliber – 7.5x55mm Swiss (GP 11)' Capacity – 6 round detachable box magazine
Sights – Tangent-leaf sight graduated to 2,000 m, Total Production : 135,770
Bayonet: Models 1889,1899 & 1906
To accomodate the new more powerful 7.5x55 cartridge, it was determined that the 89/96 could easily be converted (Model 1889s could not) to handle the new cartridge by re-barreling the rifle.

1889/96s were converted to 1896/11s by replacing or modifying the following:

A new barrel was added.
Already fitted to the barrel were new front and rear sights.
A pistol grip was grafted onto the stock of the rifle.
The new rifles were also fitted with 6 round magazines, similar to the 1889/1900 pattern magazine, minus the reinforcing ridge, although the magazine did include a bolt hold-open *feature for when the magazine was empty.
A new trigger-guard was fitted to accommodate the new magazine.
I think these are really cool and show an important transitional leap in the evolution of the modern military firearm.

Schmidt Rubin M1911 Rifle

An improvement over the original, 1889, version of the Schmidt-Rubin rifle, the Swiss M1911 placed the locking lugs in the middle of the bolt, rather than at the rear, strengthening the action and allowing a more powerful cartridge, the Gewehrpatrone 11 or GP 11 to be used. It is distinguished from the 96/11 rifle by a curved buttplate and by a stock with an integral semi-pistol grip. It uses a graduated tangent sight which begins at 300 meters. The 1911 and 96/11 rifles are characterized by exceptional accuracy and were made with excellent craftsmanship. The fact that Switzerland remained neutral through both world wars ensured that they are in far better condition, on average, than the rifles of other European nations from that vintage. 7.5x55 caliber, Straight Pull.

Schmidt Rubin K1911 Carbine

The Swiss at some point realized that its support troops, cavalry, and certain other units required a shorter rifle then what was currently available and so designed the Model 1911 Carbine. The Swiss 1911 Carbine being smaller, lighter and still lethally accurate, became a favorite of the Swiss Army and its popularity contributed to the design of its successor, the K31. My picture is not great but these are really nice. They are also the last variation with the flatter mag plate which bench shhoters tend to perfer, as well as the grooved Schmidt Rubin design bolt, and bakelite charging handle.

Swiss K-31 Carbine Rifle

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K31
Although the K31 is a straight-pull carbine like many other Swiss rifles, it was not designed by Rudolf Schmidt (1832-1898) as he was not alive to do so. The K31 was a totally new design by Eidgenossische Waffenfabrik in Bern, Switzerland under Colonel Furrer, and the gun does not have the Schmidt-designed 1889 or 1896 action. The first 200 K31s were made in May 1931 for troop trials (serials 500,001 - 500,200), thus the model number of 1931. These are very nice

-
IMAGE BELOW SHOWS BARREL LAYING ON A M38 STOCK.

NOW- LET US BE PERFECTLY CLEAR. THIS RE-BARRELING PROJECT IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART. STOCKS WOULD HAVE TO BE MODIFIED TO ACCEPT THIS HEAVY BARREL, AND ALTHOUGH RIFLES ARE THREADED PROPERLY, HEAD SPACING WOULD STILL HAVE TO BE DONE AND BARRELS WOULD HAVE TO BE TIMED PROPERLY INTO THE RECEIVER. NOT TO MENTION GETTING YOUR OLD BARREL OUT OF YOUR EXISTING RECEIVER....PLUS THERE ARE NO SITES SO FINISHED RIFLE WOULD NEED TO BE DRILLED AND TAPPED FOR A SCOPE AND MODIFIED TO A BENT BOLT. STILL THERE ARE NUMEROUS REPORTS ON THE INTERNET OF THE INCREDIBLE ACCURACY OF THESE CONVERSIONS, INCLUDING ONE WHERE A GUY IS
COVERING A 3 SHOT GROUP AT 200 YARDS WITH A QUARTER.

NAGANT RECEIVERS

This is like showers of blessings... A major importer saw our ad on the website for the heavy bbl's above. Well, it just so happens that they had a couple hundred stripped M91/30 receivers laying around from a project they did several years ago. They had just been sitting on them because lets just face it... without the barrels there was no real market.
But if you had threaded barrels....... Eureka!!!!
They called us up and offered us the whole lot, and we jumped on those things faster than a chicken on a june bug.

Barrels thread perfectly into these receivers with no modification what so ever. receivers are like new and will accept all componants from your existing rifle... and if the barrel is headspaced properly in the receiver any and all nagant bolts will interchange.
-
I know that before these were available a lot of folks, including me, were going to sacrifice their Nagant Rifle in order to build a heavy barrel. Now, for less than thirty bucks, you won't have to.
Unfortunately, these are serial #'ed and being a receiver, they are considered a firearm.
They will require an FFL for purchase.

Still, What a find, and What a deal!!!

Famous Polish quality in a P-64 Makarov Pistol. 9x18 caliber, 6 shot, semi-auto makarov. Comes complete with 2 mags and holster.
C & R Eligible
This is a very nice batch of P-64 pistols. We have approximately 200 pieces and they are all in very good to excellent condition. Mechanically they are all fine and they all seem to have nice bores, but some will have more holster wear than others and you can expect a certain degree of the bluing to be rubbed off, especially on the sharp edges. In the worst case, standard non-handpickswill have 80 to 90 % blue and handpicks should get you close to 100% with very nominal bluing wear. Truthfully though this is actually nit picking our own product because overall this is a very nice lot.
I think we could get by with selling them all as excellents and not have a problem, but you know us...
we try to be precise.
Most of the wear we are seeing is right on the front edges of the slides where they have gone in and out of leather holster.
No pitting or heavy grease, these are clean and ready to fire.
We will hand pick from the best of 10 for $10.00 additional and you can expect a really nice one as seen in the photo.

-

Our newest batch of Walther P1 / P38 Pistols as of 11/04/2011 comes with all you see above
What you see above are examples of the Walther P1 9mm semi auto pistols we have just received.
This is a post WWII version of the P38 double action pistol only with an alloy frame instead of the steel frame as the early guns had. Manufactured for the West German military and police. This batch of handguns features matching numbers, really nice bores. They are in overall good to very good condition and are in excellent mechanical condition.
The phosphate finish may show some minor rubs and storage wear,
especially on the sharp edges, and the phosphate could in most cases use a good oiling.
Overall I would clasify the condition on these as good to very good. Mechanical condition is excellent.
These photo you see above is a hand select, standard order should expect a higher degree of finish wear and holster rub.
Due to a recent B.A.T.F. re-classification these firearms are now considered as qualifying for C & R.
Fires a standard 9mm luger/parabellum round. Comes complete with 1- 8 rd mags and cleaning kit.
We will hand select for best out of 10 for an additional $10.00 to get you the very nicest one possible.
We are told these are the last of the P-1's. These will fly out of here. If you want one give a call now.

ALSO, WE HAVE NOT FOUND ANY ELECTRO PENCIL MARKINGS AND ALL OF THE PRIMARY NUMBERS WE HAVE FOUND MATCH SO FAR. NOW WE CAN'T GUARENTEE ALL MATCHING, UNLESS YOU GO HANDPICK
( ALTHOUGH I WOULD SAY 90% OF THEM DO ). WE HAVE SEEN A FEW FORCE MATCH FLOORPLATES OR BUTTPLATES, BUT EVERY RIFLE WE HAVE SEEN HAS A MATCHING BOLT AND RECEIVER. ALL OF THESE RIFLES WILL SHIP WITH A BAYONET, AS WELL AS SLING, CLEANING TOOLS AND POUCH.
THESE ARE REALLY SPECIAL SELECT.
WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THESE RIFLES, STILL, WE ORDERED THEM THINKING WE WERE ORDERING HEX RECEIVER, ( WHICH WE STILL HAVE TO GO BACK AND GET ) AND WE GOT MORE THAN WE WANT TO CARRY THROUGH THE SUMMER. AS SUCH WE NEED TO MOVE THEM. SO, NOT ONLY DO YOU GET A GREAT RIFLE. YOU GET A GREAT PRICE..... I EXPECT THESE TO GO FAST.... PLACE YOUR ORDER NOW...
